Saturday Style Mix: Two Ways to Style Your Button T-Shirt Dress

Style versatility is so important to keep in mind when you're purchasing goodies for your closet. What girl doesn’t like to have her options? Let me introduce you to my new regularly scheduled series, Saturday Style Mix.

In these posts, I will share more than one way to style a particularly trendy item. Hopefully, you are inspired to get creative with your fave fashion pieces along with me! The first item I'm styling for you is this chic button t-shirt dress.

Look 1: Belt it and Add Sneakers

The t-shirt dress is an easy and stylish all-year-round item. One simple way to elevate this item is to throw on a cute belt to give it some shape. Add in some accessories like a dressy mini tote and small gold hoop earrings for a little flair. I like a good sneaker and dress collaboration so I completed my look with a classic pair of converse kicks. I would wear this cool relaxed look to date night or a casual day out.

Dress: Thrift Giant, $5 | Earrings: H&M, $12 | Belt: Target, $16 | Tote: Plano Thrift, $3 |Sneakers: Nordstrom, $50

What if I told you that your t-shirt dress could also double as a jacket? Girl, it's true!

Look 2: With a Tank & Pants

I recently discovered that t-shirt dresses also make for a surprisingly stylish and light-weight layering piece option. I opted for a more sophisticated look with white pants, a white tank, white block heels, a white mini backpack, and a brown fedora to match the dress. This is a great outfit for brunch, church, or a fun hangout with friends.

Earrings: Target, $8 | Tank: Target, $8 | Bag: Target, $15 |Heels: DSW, $30 | Pants: Plano Thrift, $3 | Hat: Dirt Cheap, $3
